About Course
This 3-hour continuing education course equips mental health professionals with an integrated framework for understanding trauma through both trauma-informed clinical principles and biblical foundations. Participants will explore the neurobiology of trauma, trauma-informed care principles, grounding techniques, secondary trauma, generational transmission patterns (biological, psychological, sociological, and spiritual), and faith-based interventions for breaking strongholds and generational cycles.
This training integrates evidence-based trauma concepts with scriptural case studies (Job, Joseph, David, Elijah) and biblical frameworks for resilience, restoration, and spiritual renewal. Participants will gain practical tools for working with trauma-affected clients within faith-based settings while avoiding re-traumatization and promoting ethical, culturally sensitive care.
